Custom script on homepage

I am looking to include a customer php script on the main page only of my shop.

It will be chained selected options to direct customers to the products.

What I now what pages I can edit to make the script run.

If I include it in content/index.inc.php it will exceute ok but it is not inside the

skin.

I would like advice on how to get this to appear inside skin below the welcome in place of the

latest products.
