Website time out

Hope someone can help,

have my whole store up and running on CC5 now and am very happy with it apart from one one thing. when clicking on things like "view all" in a catagory or in say update file list under Admin Images, it seem to hang for a little then just say Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

It's like it is timing out when trying to handle a larger amount of data,

It is hosted through 1and1 but I have never had this problem with CC4

Thanks

@Sean

Login to your admin and click the server info link (last link in the menu)

Scroll down to Core and find the values

max_execution_time

max_input_time

memory_limit

and let me know the values. May not be in the right direction but its a thought I have had on this.

Guest hennaboy

open up ini.inc.php and comment out the memory limit

so change

ini_set('memory_limit', '128M');

to

// ini_set('memory_limit', '128M');

Just a thought but it may not resolve your problem.

A few more questions though... are you still logged in as admin when it occurs or do you get logged out. Try turning on debugging which is in store settings > advanced.
