Changed the database table `s_core_multilanguage` key 'isocode' to 'de-DE' it was former set to 'de' in email_de-DE.xml the node <emails version="2.0" language="en"> needs to be changed to <emails version="2.0" language="de-DE"> before uploading and importing the email templates. There's one more issue connected to the language: When I deactivate the english language, only leaving german as default, then there will be no notifications send. At the end of the checkout process there are some english words, but only if I'm logged in.
