I wanted to take my site offline so instead of reading how I should have done it, I changed the Index file to old_index. Great the site wasn't visable. When I wanted to put the site live again, I renamed the old_index back to index. Site shows OK but I can't do anything with the admin section. All the settings in the global.inc.php were blank. I'm struggling with the right path in the root directory. This is the error message I get below....please can you help, I am way out of my depth here.
