Guest
Hi, I am new to this. I want to process credit cards on line. I do have a paypal and Nochex account, but they both require the customer to have an paypal or Nochex account as well. Is there something I need to do to be able to process credit card directly from my own website? Any hint will be greatly appreciated. many thanks Rena

Guest
To accept credit cards "directly" you need a merchant account - usually arranged through your bank (ie barclaycard). Another option is WorldPay - which Cubecart has an existing gateway for. Becoming a worldpay merchant isn't too hard. If you have your own merchant account and a PDQ machine, then I and a few other moders do a gateway for Cubecart. Paypal/NoChex is the simplest method. Guest twisted
but they both require the customer to have an paypal or Nochex account as well Paypal now allows a user to checkout using Paypal, wtihout requiring them to sign up for an account. Or is that only for US customers?

Or is that only for US customers? Its not applicable to UK customers. They have said they will implment it here, but haven't yet. UK customers still have to sign up for accounts.
