Where to install/download mods

Hello. I saw all those hacks and mods section and lot of them seem really useful. I installed my CubeCart supplied by my web hosting company. So it is installed in my web hosting company's servers. If I want to download and use any of the mods/hacks, how/where do I download/install them?

once you install your cubecart store, you should be able to install most mods using an FTP account..

Once you have downloaded a mod and have unzipped it, most mods will have instructions as to how to install them.

You really do need an ftp program to download your existing cubecart files, and then re-upload them once you have edited them with the new mod.

Excpet for your first mod, most mods are NOt simply a matter of "plugging them in" to install them. You have to do some editing of files.

For this reason, even though you used Fantastico to install the cart, you should still obtain a copy of the cubecart script to keep on your own computer, espeically if you plan to do any sort of modifications to it.
