You can set permissions using a ftp program or cpanel.

644 unwritable

777 writeable.

The script always wants you to set permissions back to 644 after you edit the site. So if you was messing with paypal you would need to login into your site using a ftp program or however you get in to set permissions ( you can also set permissions in cpanel under file manager.)

Once in you need to go to ( if using cpanel) public_html then go into modules and then into gateways

Pick the folder you edited ...paypal, 2checkout or whatever and go in that folder to the file config.inc.php and set the permission back to 644

If you want to edit the file set it to 777

Remember whatever you are trying to edit it will give you the direct path to it at the top.

I am trying to configure my gateway to accept Authorize.net, and They advised me to make the following changes:

1. Go to SETTINGS AND PROFILE in your Authorize.net account, scroll down to the

General section and click on Test Mode text link. Click button to turn test

mode off

2. If you are passing x_test_request=true in your code, change to

x_test_request=false

3. Make sure you are posting to

https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

I have tried to find the script, but I can't...

Any help would be realllly appreciated. :wacko:

I am using cpanel, and I can't find upload/ etc. Is it possible my file is missing or named something else? I had somebody else do the site, and I am trying to fix some of the mistakes without doing too much damage. I appreciate the help.
