Guest Posted July 3, 2005 Share Posted July 3, 2005 I had a similar problem; couldn't access admin OR store after upload. I also solved it by deleting the .HTACCESS file (the one under the cart's root directory). Give it a go - you can always reload it again if it doesn't fix the problem. Guest Vi-braten Posted July 5, 2005 Share Posted July 5, 2005 I have uploaded according to the instructions. I am using 1and1.com as my host for all my sites. But on this one I am getting Error 500. I looked in the FAQ and found the index file must be named with an extension of php3 or php4. Also permissions needed changed and yet I still cannot access my index page from my browser. When i open my web page it shows my directory instead of web page I was not able to find htaccess file in cart directory I can easily access my webpage / admin page and make changes but when i type my website it shows directory.
