Guest mitomcua
Hi everyone, I am new to this and i read thru the FAQ but couldnt find the answer on how to install SSL , my goal is that when a customer click on check out button, the page will change from: http://mysite.com/checkout to https://mysite.com/checkout . What is the requirement on the host server so i can accomplish this mission, or can someone kindly walk me thru this. Thank you for your reply in advance M
Guest
you'll want to setup SSL on your server first, and instead of making just the cart httpS, make the entire site secure. talk to your hosting company about setting up SSL. myfootsmells
Guest twisted
And, of course, you have to actually BUY your SSL certificate first. instead of making just the cart httpS, make the entire site secure.which is a good idea.....if you don't mind painstakingly slow loading pages. Yea this is the WORST idea, which is probably why CCv2 did so bad compared to osC and Zencart... CCv3 doesn't seem to be fixing the problem either so back to zen we go. Only secure things like Registering, Viewing account info, and Checking out should be on the SSL, everything else should NOT be.
