How to turn off FCK editor toolbar.

I don't want the FCK editor toolbar to show by default.

To make it appear collapsed, so that you can expand it if you need it:

In admin/includes/rte/fckconfig.js on line 58 set from true to false.

Hmm Wonder if we can get rid of it completely :c) Hehehe It makes the pages load slower when it needs to be loaded etc.

well.....

There's a mod I just found at the bottom of this thread which adds the possibility to turn of the RTE in the admin settings.

Works perfectly, although the textarea that replaces the editor has some quirks. ( it tends to remove the backward slashes from one's posts, I've found, although that is surely fixable )
