Product Options Question

Greetings,

I ran a search and I couldn't find anything that addressed this particular issue.

If it has been discussed just point the way.

The shop I am setting up will be selling shoes.

It would be much easier to have just one listing for each Style and color of shoe, and have the selected size option actually fill the cart with a seperate item number.

Has anyone done this before?

In my experience so far, the option just tags itself on to the item in the cart, but you are still stuck using only one item # for each style color, and then doing inventory calculations for seperate sizes by hand.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

P.S. As a tag-along. Is everyone just using the non-free CSV upload utility? Or is there another way?

Same question I have.

I looked other site that built with cube cart is set to OPTION filed, which means we can setup Option filed with CubeCart.

Even some general direction about where to look to make a mod would be appreciated.
