Guest scarleck
HI folks, I think these are somehow related to each other. 1) Tax always shows as 0 despite toggling 'Include Taxes in price' on or off. I've ensured that tax is set to UK 17.5% yet it's not being added on. 2) Shipping does not update in the final price. (I did a search and found a fix but this didn't seem to do it... even when I cut/copy pasted the example in to line 495 (and removed the original code.) Can anyone help on either of these? Guest fiddy
This is weird because both Tax and postage work for me and I haven't applied any of the 'fixes'. tax, three things need to be aligned admin > store config > taxes 1. "Apply Tax ONLY the following area:" United Kingdom. 2. "County/State/Zone:" All 3. 'Update' button 4. "Tax Class" 'Std Rate' > '17.5' 5. 'Add Tax' button admin > catalogue > view products 1. pick one and hit 'edit' 2. "Tax Class:" drop-down, choose "Std rate (17.5000%)" 3. 'Edit Product' button The weird one... admin > store config > admin settings 1. "Include tax in prices:" = No clearly wrong, it should be yes, but the toggle works in the opposite way. Guest scarleck
Sadly, this is exactly what I've done... and nadda... no tax. Is it possible to simply remove the tax box on the shopping cart? I can include tax in the main price if needs be.
Guest scarleck
Ok, I just removed my other two tax options and TAX now works fine... (I also removed the ability to print an order form) Sadly... no joy on shipping yet. EDIT: FIXED IT!!! Basically... removed printing of the order forms, changed shipping costs to royal mail and voila! it all works right. Clearly some combinations of payment, shipping and tax do not work well together.
