  1. I started this topic about a month ago, and just finally noticed that the products with a product title that begins with a number (about 99% of mine start with a year - e.g. 1975 Ohio) omit the product listing and price from the confirmation email and from the customer's view - I can see the proper listing on the admin side.  Products with a title that begins with a letter (e.g. Ohio 1975) show normally.  Obviously, this freaks out customers who get blank confirmation emails. (see attached)

A workaround would be to change the listings to start with a letter (there are about 1200 of them), but is there something in the code that can be modified to recognize product titles that begin with a number?

    Thanks

    CC ver 5.2.2 - upgrade from 5.2.1

  2. Hi Bsmither--  Somehow I completely locked myself out of my own image directory trying to change permissions.  I simply deleted the whole mess and reloaded.  The images are showing now.

Is there a quick way to attach the images to the listings with SQL or is the store image loader the best way to do it?

    Thanks again

  3. I appreciate your help - unfortunately - no luck.  I've been okay through the 5.x upgrade. The upgrade from 5.2.1 to 5.2.2 is the first one to give me problems.  I've opened a support ticket with the boys in Britian.

    Thanks again

  4. This may already be another topic, but I'm not sure.  After my upgrade to 5.2.2, I seem to have lost all of my stock quantities (e.g. 1 in stock, 2 in stock, 0 in stock, etc.) in the Product Inventory menu.

I've had CC since version 3, and this is the first time I've seen this.  Is there a new setting we have to set somewhere.

  5. After a hellish upgrade to v. 5.2.2, I seem to have lost all of the photos associated with my listings.

All of the photos are in both the /image/includes/ and /image/cache folders.  The listings have the yellow stars on the correct image associated with the photos (although the "Main Image" thumbnail comes up blank.)  The image file manager shows all of the photo files (although clicking on them will bring up a mesage saying that "This image could not be loaded".)  I've tried "Update File List" under the image manager, and I've tried manually reloading the images to listings.  No luck with any of this.

My website it www.platedepot.com.  Clicking on any listing will show a listing without photos.

    Any ideas?

  6. I've had a very similar situation to this.  I've attached an order that shows this issue.  The items are all doubled, plus some extras that didn't seem to work at all. Furthermore, the stock quantities on these types of orders will go negative (as high as -4 in some cases), which seems to suggest that customers may be trying to place the order again (or several times) after hitting a roadblock somewhere.  I personally have not been able to duplicate this problem, but I do see it often.

Note that the person who tried to place this order did not succeed (no total and only a $2.50 postage charge).  The stock quantities of all these items are now -2.  Suggestions?  Or should I log in the bug tracker?

  7. I've been having the same problem on and off (mostly on) for the last several days.  GoDaddy has not been adjusting the server or PHP version.

Cubecart seems to be choking on loading the dashboard after login.  Is there a way to bypass this screen and go straight to ORDERS upon login?   Also, customers have still be placing orders, so the front end is still working.

  8. There is also a thread on this in the Upgrage and Installation forum. I am reposting my response to BSmither's request for information...

I queried the CC_order_inventory table and found only 55 rows, which represent yesterday's orders. CC_order_summary has over 4000 rows, representing orders going back to 2009.

Debugging an order that is missing inventory showed a call made to CC_order_inventory, but since there are no rows with that order number anymore, nothing was returned.

I've taken the store offline until this gets fixed.

  10. I upgraded the store from 5.1.0 to 5.1.3 yesterday. Since, I've done the upgrade, I have had two major issues:

    1. When the order is tranferred to PayPal for payment, only the postage is billed. However, my dashboard tells me the entire order has been paid for. One customer was honest enough to tell me that he was only being billed $4 for a $50 order.
    2. Some orders will appear with no items listed and just the postage. I have attached a screen capture of this
    3. The contents of any order that was placed prior to yesterday has now disappeared. I did a database backup both through cubecart and my hosting company prior to updating. The hosting database restore continues to show orders with no contents. The cubecart database restore shows complete order, but nothing beyond last weekend (despite being backed up yesterday). I have also attached a screen capture of this.

This is on top of the 10 - 15% of orders that do not transfer to PayPal cleanly and are thus lost, unless I send a manual invoice.

Feeling pretty trapped here, and my customers are getting quite frustrated.
