I've upgraded to the most recent version of cubecart:
- CubeCart Version
- 6.0.8
- PHP Version
- 5.4.45
- MySQL Version
- 5.1.73-log
and it still appears to be leaving orders paid for with paypal as "pending" - is there a way of editing this version of cubecart so that the order will show as complete once paypent with paypal is made (using the standard paypal plugin).
Help greatly appreciated here if possible please.

It's still doing it for me - I can't find anywhere to alter it, which means I have to manually set orders to complete so that the customer can download the digital file they've ordered

Hi,
Recently, when customers have paid for their order for digital products usign paypal, the order status is remaining at "Pending", which means I've got to manually set it to "order complete" before they can downlaod the digital product they've paid for.
In the past, orders were marked as "order complete" when payments were made using paypal.
Any help as to where I can reset this?

I've downloaded CC5. 2. 17 and replaced the admin.php and index.pho files (which are 2kb and 1kb in size) on my site.When I then go into the cubecart control panel, and choose Server info under the advanced tab, it's still saying PHP version 5.2.17
I'm not sure how I get it to use PHP 5.3 or 5.4

i've been told by my internet provider that they no longer supprot PHP version 5.2, which my current version of cubecart (v5.2.2) uses. I'm hoping that upgrading to the msot up to date version will not cause any problems with the website. However, when I've gone to the upgrade page and clicked the relevant button, it says UPgrade not possible, please perform a manual upgrade.
I've no idea how to do this. Help please

Many thanks - I've been able to do that, which is excellent, and I think will make it easier for people to buy.
I'm just trying to find now where I can alter the font size for price of the item, and how to move the words "Product Description" to the left of the box.
(I just don't alter things often enough to remember).

I've added some product options (Media Options I've called it) to my products, and this appears at the bottom of the screen, for example on this page:

I can't remember where I have to go to move this to the top of the screen.

I've found a sort of solution to the above problem. The coupon had been assigned to Al products on the website. I've changed this to assign it to only some products, and it appears to be discounting correctly. I guess therefore that there's a coding error somewhere in the section relating to assigning the coupon to all products.

I actually think I've had this happen before once a while back. I tend to put off updating as it tends to over write the things I've customised when I do it (and I alter things so rarely that it involves working out how I did everything again.)

Hi,
I've set up a discount code on my website to offer 25% discount on products. For some reason this appears be listing each item in the cart at 25% off, and then discounting it by a further 25%.
Any clues as to why this may be happening?

I've sorted some of the above, but the part I'm struggling to work out is the location for the code which makes the code for the product description both indented and narrow. Any clues please?

I'm really pleased so far with the new look from the Mican template. However, on my product pages, such as this one:

when I scroll down the page, all the graphics I've placed on that page are going off the screen, whereas on the kurouro template they fitted.
Is there a location for the template for the products so that I can change something in it so that the graphics fit please?

This may sound like a basic question, but I'm trying to redesign my website, possibly changing from the skin I'm using (which I modified a couple of years ago and can't really remember how I did it) to another one.
Can anyone possibly tell me the name/location of the file which contains the design layout, and which items appear on it for the main page which loads when someone accesses the website (www.mentalstarters.co.uk)

The Flexslider looks interesting - I've just downloaded it, but I can't see anywhere how to install this into cubecart. Is it straightforward to install, or do I need to start modifying code?

Having downloaded the trial and placed Fusion and BLueprint in the correct places, following the installation instructions on their website, I get an error when I go into the Fusion Configuration panel. It just give a message referring to iconCube PHP Loader needing to be installed.
Not sure what that is - the page won't let me copy the whole thing.

Thanks Ian - I saw those two, and they did look good. I think there was a 7 day trial and wondered whether it would be worth trying that first to see if it would look ok before committing to buying it.
Does the disappearance of the developer mean they are not easy to purchase?

I wonder if anyone can help. I'd like my website to look a little more professional and up to date, and feel a better skin would help.
Does anyone know of any commercial ones (preferably not excessively expensive, but easy to install) which they'd recommend. I'd ideally like a scrolling image as well but not sure if that's possible without an add-on).

I only offer Print_Order_Form and Paypal as payment options on my website. When customers select digital downloads, I wish them to pay via paypal.
Despite spelling this out as clearly as I can on the website, I still get more people choosing Print_Order_Form as their payment method when they've selected a digital download.
Is there a way of them only being given the option of paying my paypal is they've chosen a digital download product?

On my website, I only use Print_Order_Form, and Paypal as payment methods.
However, when customers arrive at the point of choosing which method of payment, I'd prefer that it said "Send me an Invoice" rather than "Print_Order_Form".
Is there any way of changing the name of this?

It was the payment gateway, and once I went to my Paypal Account and set it so that it sent the IPN, it now works.
