Just finished talking with two different techs from my hosting and everything looks great. RAM, disk usage, etc is perfect so they said is a content issue. The odd thing is that a fresh copy of CC 6.2.9 also generates the 503 error which just puzzle me big time.

The odd thing is that it doesn't affect the front end, as it displays the data, customers can also create accounts and view admin panel. It just affects the BO specifically when trying to log in. I uploaded a fresh copy https://www.loteriagringa.com/gameon/ for the FO and for the BO https://www.loteriagringa.com/gameon/admin_xigpye.php user AJ and pwd @eroLogistica to re-create the error.

It's indeed a web server issue because I just installed a fresh copy of Cube Cart 6.2.9 and the BO log in goes into the same 503 error. Did must to have done something because it was working.

Yes sorry, I am running 5.6, The attached documents plug in is indeed inside the /modules/plugins/ directory.

Both are running 6.2.9 and they are completely different, unrelated, reason why I am thinking it may be the server even though Godaddy says that everything is good on their side. But then again, it would show a 503 error all over yet the FO works, is just the handling of the BO log in that screw things up. I was even thinking that rolling back to the last working backup would fix the issue.

Ok so I said, screw it, I am going back to a backup copy and start fresh, will probably lose 4 hours of work, so I did, and problem persisted, now I am clueless! It has to be an issue with the server, even though they swore earlier that everything was good at their end, they even said it was CC issue. I have two directories with the same CC version (6.2.9), yet they are different installs and don't share anything, pretty much I have it just for backup/testing purposes. They both present the same issue with the 503 error, so, it makes me think is the server. Is also interesting how the FO is not affected, customers can log in and navigate through the admin, the error is strictly for BO -> dashboard.

Done! I did have an error_log file there before for some reason, the website works fine, is just the log in on the BO. I know bsmither right? I was even puzzled on how it was creating a YES log, so my guess is that the credentials are indeed accepted but communication with the host breaks off afterwards. Contacted my server, they tested everything on their end and said it was a cubecart issue. I did check that as well and returned empty. I also checked the server error log but nothing pertaining at the specific domain/directory. The crazy thing is that it was fully operational two days ago, tried to resume setting up the shop and surprise haha.

Awesome bsmither, I am going to take a look. So no errors but found something interesting, every time I try to log in, followed by the error, it creates a log entry and it thinks the access was a success.

So the website loads perfectly, as an user, you can log in and place/check orders, etc yet, if I try to access the BO, put my credentials, and click log in, i get the following error: Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. Additionally, a 503 Service Unavailable error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Dude, dude, dude! It worked like a charm, creating the .user.ini solved the issue. Thanks again bsmither, awesome job! So, obviously the whole skin issue was just mere coincidence and I assume the max_input_vars on CC5 was higher that 2,000 because I didn't have this issue when I set up the site on it. Understood bsmither, most likely I could be passing that limit based on the amount of product options I am creating. 1,790 product options and funny enough, I created them without issues on Cube Cart 5. Then. I decided to upgrade to CC6 and now I am having issues. I would have to roll back to CC5 or find a solution because Cube Cart 5 is the only one that could handle that amount of options. I come from PrestaShop and it just kept crashing, so, bsmither, what setting can be increased on ini.php?

Awesome bsmither, I did it but don't see anything odd. Uploading that skin had to mess something up because I had been working flawlessly until that point.

Thanks for replying bsmither, I am working on Dashboard --> Products Product --> Options. Nah, haven't done anything different as when I added all other options.

I was able to create a product and saved it just fine, but seems as if the problem occurs only when creating Product Options.Anything I click on this sections loops back to dashboard. Now I am confused So weird, so I deleted the last Product Option created, it did, then I was able to re-add it and worked fine, then when I tried to create a second one, it happened again and looped back to dashboard.

I know, weird, it won't let me save anything and things were super good before I added/deleted the skin.

Hello fellow geeks. I uploaded the crosshatch skin to CC6.2.9 and then deleted it, never used in on the site, continue with the foundation, the site works great but now every time I save something, it redirects to the dashboard and the changes doesn't get recorded. I was working flawlessly before installing the skin so I assume the loop was caused due to that. I obviously cleared cache, etc and problem persists. Thanks in advance! regards, AJ

Hi AL, thanks, understood. I have indeed just tested it and probably just have to play with the images on the home page, they do resize but they look crowded, so is more of an aesthetic issue. Thanks again and great day! regards, AJ

Hello fellow geeks, so I was running CC5 before and under "store settings -> layout" I had a mobile theme selector. Currently I am running CC6 and even though I have installed both the default (foundation) and Crosshatch, I cannot see an option to define either one as the default mobile theme. I need to force mobile visits to the mobile theme. Thanks in advance! regards, AJ
