Firstly I am new to this type of thing so, Hi.

I am currently setting up and modifying my site . The problem is that I want to display 8 brown boxes down the left hand side as each category with text within them. instead of the normal menu. Do you know if this is possible to do. I have been going round and round in circles trying to make it work without success. I enjoy the challenge but its NOW time for an experts advice please!
