  1. You will need to edit the includes/global.inc file to the correct paths.
  2. Hi Ette, you asked the same question many times. I see you fixed it now is that correct?
  3. Open up phpMyAdmin, select the database, click the checkbox on that table 'CubeCart_sessions' . Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and in the select box select "Repair"
  4. Also try this bug fix for the first error http://bugs.cubecart.com/view.php?id=1596
  5. You can change the customers online with this little mod. http://www.cubecartforums.org/index.php?sh...ic=5068&hl= Also google "Customer Tracking CC4" and you will find a more comprehensive mod.
  6. As I said, I already have done that. In that case its a language encoding issue with the template.
  7. Check in Admin - Currencies that the Euro sign is there.
  8. Hi, No it cant do these things without modifications. You can hide the prices untill a customer has logged in from the setting in the Admin control panel.
  9. There are thousands of stores running successfully . The error you got on install is an easy fix. https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?_m=k...78&nav=0,17
  10. You posted in the Cubecart 4 section. Not possible in CC3
  11. Yes, when you create the new option, choose textbox from the dropdown.
  12. Have a word with your hosting company and get them to check its definately writable and ask if they have changed anything on the server recently.
  13. First of all you need a module not included with the CubeCart package to install, i.e. a third party module, Personally I dont know of any modules that are installable that way and not sure if any one ever uses it, perhaps someone else will have more information. What are you trying to install?
  14. There is no beta version, its a release. It has one or two bugs that you can correct. If your not happy with that then wait for the next release. Is that clear?
  15. The latest version is 4.3.4 It will not have updates correcting any bugs found in the 4.3.4 release, you would have to check the bug tracker and make the changes yourself. Always backup your files and database so you can go back if you encounter problems after the upgrade.
  16. You can change this in the includes/global.inc file, look for $glob['dbpassword'] =

have a look at this thread and see if it helps http://forums.cubecart.com/index.php?showt...mp;#entry167936
  18. You have to sign up for an account. Takes a few mins http://forums.cubecart.com/index.php?showforum=49
  19. Roger, if you have not already done so it would be worth adding your comment to the bug report so that the developers will read it.
  20. I had to use support the other day via the support credit system, the response was extremely quick and a fix was implemented within an hour or so. It cost me 1 credit so I believe 1 credit will fix one issue from start to finish. One thing that is important with CubCart is that you use good compatible hosting as cheap incompatible hosting leads to issues. There is a good community here and over at cubecart.org where eventually you should get help if someone is able.
  21. So how did you upgrade, did you upload all the files and overwrite the others or did you change files manually, you say your store is down, is there any error message. We cant help with such vague information.
  22. Upload the setup folder and navigate to it with your browser, then choose upgrade.
  23. See this bug report which should fix it. http://bugs.cubecart.com/view.php?id=1596
  24. Yes, that fixes it! But just curious, is it normal for one doing upgrades to look out for these sort of patches? Anyway, cheers and thanks for the hint! If you find issues it's always best to check the bug reports in case it is indeed a bug and a fix has been found already. It’s the nature of software to have some bugs. I had forgotten initially that I applied this fix earlier. :homestar:
