I would try the compat-test file in the root of your server and not in a folder, if that doesnt work have a word with the host, if they don't help much I would change to a host thats fully compatable with Cubecart.

Can you provide a link so we can see it, are the settings for images in Admin correct for your skin?

Once you have it installed play around with creating products, adding images and so on. You can ask questions on the relevant forums if you need to know something specific.

Try using firefox and the web developer toolbar addon, you can edit the css in real time and see the colours change, this will allow you to find the ones you missed.
You can change the top logo through Admin, just create a new one and upload it.

I get this error but it created the account. Maybe try to re upload the folder classes/htmlMimeMail with fresh files. I am not sure what the error message means, someone may know.

You need to change them by downloading from your server, the global.inc.php file which is in the includes folder, make the changes and re upload it.

It looks like the transfer of your database was not done, all the information you lost is contained there. How did you transfer your site?

How did you upgrade, did you upload all the files or make alterations due to mods?

Could you not use the built in product options, create a new option and use the text area type?

Yes you can install direct to the public_html directory.

Try clearing your cookies and browser cache, if you use internet explorer, make sure settings have not changed, have you tried in different browsers?

In admin - site documents have your selected the correct site doc to be terms and conditions?

First you upload your images through Admin - filemanager -upload images, then through admin - view product you will see a link under each product image called "manage images", from there you can add and remove gallery images.

Ok, I would remove that file and contact your host, explain you tried and ask them if they wouldn't mind doing it for you. They should help, I have to say the code they provided is one I have not seen, the code I use in my htaccess file is
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php
You could try that and if it doesn't work contact your host.

Open Notepad, copy and paste SetEnv DEFAULT_PHP_VERSION 5 into it, then save as and name it .htaccess
Upload that file to the public_html folder on your server using your ftp program.

Have a good think about your host though, I had similar issues some time back and I think there are much better alternatives that we can't discuss on this forum due to the rules. My current host answers urgent support emails 24hrs a day including weekends for not much more in cost, when you run a shop good hosting is paramount as downtime is loss of money and customers.
