Guest explido
Hello! I've got a question about the setting switch "Include tax in prices?" on the "General Settings", part "Locale Settings". From my understanding it should be work like this: If this setting switch is on (include tax in price), then all prices (also product prices in the database) are gross prices (prices already include the x% tax). If this switch is off (NOT include tax in price), then all prices (also product prices in the database) are net prices (which means CubeCart has to add the x% tax). Is this correct or not? It seems to work in another way, if the switch is off, it works correct (x% tax will be added). But if the switch is on, CubeCart does just nothing (does also not show any tax - just shows "N/A"). Hope to hear from you soon and happy to read your opinions about that. Best wishes, b.o. Marc Geldon (explido Software GmbH&Co.KG)
Guest Technofarm
that's correct! at least my cubecart works the same! My tax setting is ON, so the tax is allready included!
goober999
The prices in the database are always NET. The "Include tax in prices" switch adds the tax to the price when the price is shown in the store.
