last many days am looking for help in LETEST PRODUCT .. i want to show some more details in our Letest Product Section...

right now letest product showing this details :-

1. Product Name

2. Product Thumbnil image

3. product sell price

but i want some extra details on my letest product section in home page.. i want this details on my letest product in home page :-

1. Product Name

2. Product Thumbnil image

3. Product Price

4. Product Discription

5. Buy button

6. More button

i hope u understand what i want to explain... i alrady poste regarding this problem be4 but am still waiting for reply.. today once again am posting about this matter... can anyone solve my problem ???

is there any one can do this type of changes.. if yes then plz tell me step by step solution ...???

Are you looking for a cataloge page of "Latest Products"?? It seems like you are looking for a lot of information for it to be just a "lastest Prouct" update? Which skin are you using, you may have a hard time with the layout depending onwhich one you are using? If you have a link to the store post it and lets first look at the available room that you may or may not have.

I thought if you clicked product in latest products it took u the product page that has everything that you ask for?

Am i mistaken on this or is that not good enough for what you need ?

Hi Gul,

probably the reason no one has helped you is that they do not know the answer, or if someone does know an answer, they either hae not read your question or do not have the time to answer.

I do not know the answer, though it should be pretty simple. I tried a couple quick things this morning, but they didn't work.

Have you compared the relevant files? If this is very, very important to you, maybe you could work at it and find your own answer :)

Sounds to me like you need to use the view products page script and put it into the latest product box script. Don't know if this will work but sounds like simplest answer.

Course will be a little fiddly as you need the description part from view product but with a few columns instead of one and a different layout. You may be able to just copy across the database calls from view to latest... Don't know.

Took me about 4 hours to adjust view product to display 2 columns but I know no PHP or mySQL, Am learning fast though. You probably have to as well.

What you're asking for is very doable, but will not be quick or easy. If it's a necessity for your site, what is it worth to you or your client? PM me if you want to talk about a commissioned mod.

but this is not working i was adding {TXT_DESC} and {BTN_BUY} {BTN_MORE} value on index.tpl file , but it is not working i think i have to edit includes\content\index.ini.php but i dont know much php thtas why i cant edit ini file.

now i hope u all understand what i want ...

plzz solve my problem if any one understand...
