Guest Posted November 25, 2005 Share Posted November 25, 2005 In IE when you click on the links (stay in shop by catagory) the background flashes black before the rainbow backgrounds shows. It's very fast but I don't like it. What can I do? All I did was replaced the image file with a new one - same name and same size. markscarts Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 I can't see the black background, because the page loads quickly for me. I was able to sneak a peek into your layout.css, and I see that you have a background color specified as #000013; this is a near-black color, and this is where the color is coming from. You should change that to white or to some color in your rainbow so that the black will never be seen again. Evidently the rainbow background image takes too long to load into your browser. You should optimize the image if it is a JPEG, edit and save it as a lower quality image so that it uses less compression and is a smaller file, then it will load faster.
