Guest tlingit Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 I'm running CC3.0.5 and using the USPS shipping module. I have some items that only weigh a matter of ounces. This is probably a stupid question, but how do I enter ounces in the product description. It asks for input in pounds, but if I enter something like 0.5 and try to process the order, I get this message from USPS: <?xml version="1.0"?> <RateV2Response> <Package ID="0"> <Error> <Number>-2147219503</Number> <Source>DomesticRatesV2::clsRateV2ValidateWeight;RateEngineV2.ProcessRequest</Source> <Description>Please enter a valid weight in pounds.</Description> <HelpFile></HelpFile> <HelpContext>1000440</HelpContext> </Error> </Package> </RateV2Response> Thank you in advance. Guest Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Have you installed my updated USPS shipping module? It takes care of the lbs to oz conversion for you as well as letting you easily pass the USPS's tests so you can be setup to go live. There's a pinned link to it at the top of this forum. :) Quote
Guest tlingit Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Thank you, thank you, thank you! Works perfectly! We are lucky to have you here! Quote
34Ford Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Well is there a secret to entering ounces to a product. First class cant be over 13 ozs. so how do I enter it in the product window? Quote
34Ford Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 I know there is someone who can explain this. Im using version 3.0.18 and I would think it is as current on shipping modules as it can get. How on earth do you enter ounces in the Product Weight? Oh fudge. you cant link pics here. Quote
34Ford Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 8 ozs is .5 of a pound, etc. Does not work. Tried that. First Class enabled No matter if you pick "Letter", "Parcel", or "Flat" when you check out you get this "Failed to add the package". Quote
Guest Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Works fine for the shipping by weight module which is what I use. No clue on the usps one. Quote
