Guest Spacemanager Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Hi.... I have a problem. If i start a upload i always get the Message: "The image already exist. Try another name." Upload and Thumbs is set to 777. I tried different names and sizes. There is the GD lib version 2 installed. There ist nothing in the folder, when i look with a ftp client in it. markscarts Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 This may not be your problem, but . . . If you get the upload screen, you'll see a text box for image location and a browse button, to browse your PC for the image location. Beneath that, there is a button like, "Upload Images" or "Upload Now" or something. If you click "Upload Images" BEFORE browsing and selecting the image, you will get this message. I've done it a few times on accident. If operator error isn't causing this, then I can't help you. The only time I've seen that message on Linux is when attempting to upload an image whose name is already there, or when the field is empty.
