Hello All - My host gives me the facilty to use mysql 5; does anyone know if cubecart runs ok on this version of mysql? If so, are there any benefits and would it be easy to migrate from v4?

Thanks

Pete.

I'm not specifically aware of anybody who's running on it yet. There are very few hosts who've changed to MySQL 5 at this point. In fact, there are still a LOT of hosts who are still running MySQL 3.23.x. To coin a phrase, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

  • 4 weeks later...

Hi,

Just a quick note to say I have 4 shops that are all on MYSQL 5.0.20a-standard. All these were on 4...someting before I moved them to my new server. The only small problems I had were these below and they were quickly fixed by using these links below:

Product Options: http://www.cubecart.com/site/forums/index....104+mysql+error

Standard Tax:http://www.cubecart.com/site/forums/index....tax+not+updated

On one shop I had to reset the £ sign by entering it again.

Hope this comes of some help to someone!
