Guest ukmgranger
Hi there, I am looking into a website that can be plit into two different main categories. I nee to have a mens / ladies main category button, which, when pressed changes the categories on the home page to reflect the mens or ladies products. I would also like the content of the home page to change dependent on the main page category too. Is this possible? take a look here to see an example of what I want to do: www.asos.com Regards

burgensteen
Yeah looks like this is two stores running in different sub directories perhaps off the same db.
Guest ukmgranger
There must be an easier way than running two store!! This will quite literally double the workload. Is there no way of having two home pages with different content on each?
burgensteen
If ts just the hompage you want different then there is a free mod over at CCF but the example you give shows that all the womens pages are different to the mens.
Guest Bonesddrummer
Hi ukmgranger, did you find a resolve to this ? I need to do something similar.
Guest ukmgranger
No unfortunately not. I have a feeling that with cubecart, the only way of doing it is to have two installs looking at the same database. The more I am getting into ecommerce, the more I am reading that if you are serious, to need to invest in a bespoke system.
