Guest Brivtech
As you're on Version 3, you can download the CubeCart V3 Config Tool from the downloads section: https://support.cubecart.com/index.php?_m=d...cid=0&nav=0 It'll let you alter any of the configuration settings, including your admin username/password. Remember to delete the file the instant you have finished with it, as it is a serious security breach if left on the server.

Guest DacorDave
Hmmm....just may be I was a bit premature. For some reason, that username/password fails to work. Does anyone know how I can rescue my Username/password... or does it mean I have to reinstall everything again??? Regards DacorDave
bsmither
Use phpMyAdmin (probably provided by your host). Access your MySQL database and look at the table for admin_users. Delete the encoded password and enter in a new password. phpMyAdmin has this ability to apply an encoding function to the contents you just typed in. I'm not sure how to do that, but I've been told it's a drop down box - select MD5 hash. Then update the record. I think that will do it.
