ZIP file error when downloading

Recommended Posts

Guest Brivtech

I can also confirm that I get a similar message:

The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted.

I'm sure Martin (The developer) is on the case, and a fixed download will be available soon.

HEH! I just saw you hovering over this topic, so figured you were on the case. :)

Your fixed download is giving me the same problem again.

what OS/Browser are you using to download, and what archive utility are you using (i.e. winzip, winrar) and it's version?

Windows XP, and using the built-in windows zip thingy.

If you want to let me have the 2 files individually, I'll be happy to zip them properly for you! :)

It works now in Firefox. Hang on, I'll go back to my other account and try IE again.

By the way, I get the following files:

__MACOSX - Folder

__MAXOSX - Unknown

admin_enc_ion.php

admin_enc_zend.php

Inside the __MACOSX folder I get

._admin_enc_ion.php

._admin_enc_zend.php

Getting a Mac to do a PC's job! Just terrible! :)

Yeah, it's not opening when downloaded through internet explorer.

Because my Brivtech account is not a customer account I don't have the forum permissions to download the original file, so that's why I'm logged in here:

Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available.

Oh, and the versions are:

IE7.0.5730.11

and FF 2.0.0.14

Running on Windows XP 5.1.2600 SP2

EDIT:

Permission fixed, but IE download still corrupt. That's both yours posted above, and Al's in the announcements section.

But then the customer will download one of them and upload it having the other encoding method enabled and shout at us when the admin side of their store goes off line in two weeks.

We are going to upload the file to the server with FTP and change the link to it. I think IPB is breaking it. :)
