When I use the "Add to Basket" button under the Product Page (viewprod.tpl), it does not add. However if I use the "Buy" button under the subcat page where all my products are listed, it works fine. I spent a lot of time searching the forum for possible causes but failed to find the right one. If anybody is familiar with this problem, I would greatly appreciate your help. Many thanks in advance Issue RESOLVED. At the end, I uploaded again the original viewprod.tpl to erase my custom-made one and it is all functioning fine now.
