bsmither
That's been an ongoing issue when using quote marks in the product name. Notice it doesn't happen in the product description. One work around is to use a pair of apostrophes instead of a quote mark.
markmaps
only one small problem with using apostrophes instead of quote marks, they are the symbol for "inch" now what ?
bsmither
Where I come from, a single apostrophe is used as a 'foot' symbol (12-inches)(or degree 'minutes'). A pair of apostrophes ('', or a quote character ") is used as a ''inch'' symbol (or degree "seconds"). Aren't your products given in fractional inches? markmaps
yes thats correct a quote character " is used as a ''inch'' symbol in the UK yes my products are given in fractional inches IE 3/4" but as thats the accepted method of describing these itemes it wouldnt be practical to represent it as 0.75 inch as a lot of people wouldnt get it, personally id rather use mm but they are mostly still manufactured in imperial
bsmither
Let me state my advice again, a work around is to use a pair of apostrophes. This is what a pair of apostrophes look like: '' This a quote character to compare: " They look close enough in appearance.
