Guest Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Hi, I am trying to set up a google base account (or google merchant centre as it is now called). It is demanding that I verify my ownership of the site before it will let me do anything. It suggests that I download a given html file and upload it into the root of my store. Did that, but google says it can't see it (is this blocked by .htaccess?). The other way is to add a bit of tracking code into head section of the html page - but where do I put that?
