[email protected] Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 ok, i have had to edit how this error appears: When a new customer first registers and enters the billing address information and presses save, the following red box error is displayed: "The following errors were detected : failed to save address" and the billing address fields display blank ( see screenshot) however, the full address is recorded in admin successfully. If the customer ignores this error and clicks " Your address book" all the billing address info is there fine and the customer can proceed as normal. However, because the customer only sees the error, they keep re-entering their info. The result is that the address is then recorded multiple times and the customer is frustrated not being able to get past registration. no mods in the store, latest CC5 version 5.0.7. Guest Viola Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 Probably the best place to start would be the error log in the admin dashboard, and in the root directory of your store. And does it only happen to new customers when they first sign up, or does it also happen to returning customers when they try to add a new address to their address book?
