Nmist
Hope this makes sense as I describe it. I am new to cube cart. The original person who set it up for my client is no longer available. My client only has a username and password to log into their estore. Ofcourse we have changed the nameserver for the domain and it is bring in is to his new website not his old one with the estore. Is there a way to log into his store settings and correct this? Thanks
bsmither
Welcome Nmist! Glad to see you made it to the forums. "is to his new website not his old one with the estore" From how you explain it, having your browser go to www.mydomain.com is getting a new website, not the website where CubeCart was installed. Am I correct? There is nothing in CubeCart that would affect the "domain name to server machine" relationship that your hosting provider set up for you. So, I think you will need to give us more information about where CubeCart was. If CubeCart is still on your hosted space somewhere, you can create a sub-domain (a CNAME alias) and point that name to where CubeCart is at. If what I just said makes no sense, you will probably want to get the assistance of your hosting provider.
Nmist
bsmither Thanks for the fast reply. And yes that is what is happening. I am not familiar with cubecart at all and hopefully this will fix the problem. Thanks
Nmist
I have located my cubecart files on my hosting server. How do I log into my estore with this problem? I am family with where to change the cname but not the path to use.
