products per page

we are now running V6.  Previous versions had the option to change the number of products per page.  It seems this function is no longer available.    

It is a problem for us as the first product page displayed is not fully populated with products, customers leave the page without realising there are a number additional pages of products behind the first.

Any suggestions how to get this functionality/ option  back?

Welcome jalex! Glad to see you made it to the forums.

If you are running Foundation, there will a "More..." link at the bottom of the page.

If you are keeping with a CC5 skin, there will be pagination, but the place to set the per page amount is now in the skin's config file.

In the config.xml file:

Find:
  </info>

Add after:
  <layout>
	<products>
		<perpage default="true" amount="12" />
	</products>
  </layout>

Set the amount of products per page you want.

In admin, Maintenance, Rebuild tab, check the Clear Cache and Save.
