Guest jonnerd154
I got it working without a problem accept that my admin panel (http://store.***.com/admin) redirects to "https://www.***.com/store/adminindex.php?" - missing a slash between admin and index.php. Any ideas where I might look to find the code that controls this redirection so I can fix it?

Have a look in includes/sslSwitch.inc.php
Guest claudia6913
I'm now using 3.0.2 and when I try to log into the admin, (after setting everything up like you and the host said) it is trying to connect to the secrue server for the admin. got a fix for that? Guest
An alternative to playing with the SSLswitch file is to use phpmyadmin to make a SQL export of the CC config DB table (making sure to add a 'drop if exists' option). When you get locked out of the admin section (as I have been many times trying to get my SSL sorted out - I still haven't), just click on the phpmyadmin SQL tab, paste in the SQL and run it. Works like a charm for me. I agree with the previous comments about set-up examples - we could really do with some as trying to get this working is just utter, utter guess work. Right, back to it... Yep, I'm getting the same. For some reason I'm also getting timed out on step 4 of the shopping cart when using Royal Mail. I've set up comma separated lists for 3 zones but I actually get different error messages. For example, I could get this one: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /path/to/secure/area/public_html/classes/db.inc.php on line 213 But I've also had this one: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /path/to/secure/area/public_html/modules/shipping/Royal_Mail/calc.php on line 2 And this one: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /path/to/secure/area/public_html/modules/shipping/Royal_Mail/calc.php on line
Guest nthrusse
I have a shared certificate, when I select yes and create the changes.. The site loads up but it takes about 100 times as long to do so. Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store: (Include Trailing Slash) CART/ Absolute SECURE URL to store: https://ssl.perfora.net/bestucanb.org Server SECURE Root Directory: /homepages/20/d108879515/htdocs/cart If I don't add the above info on the admin page and just use https://ssl.perfora.net/bestucanb.org to get to my test site it loads, but the images on the main page are missing? 1) Ideas on how to fix my shared SSL would be appreciated? 2) IF I get my own SSL, does this issue go away? Thanks :(
Guest
I am completely new to ssl, but I want to get my store started and would like to have a secure site. I went and purchased a secure certificate from my host. (godaddy.com) and I am using there linux server, now when I upload my site there is no ssl folder is that something I have to designate or can I use the same folder were my site is located now (/store/), if so I have no idea what the paths would be for that I tried setting up ssl on my site and I get locked out of the admin site, and my store only works up until it tries to go into one of the secure pages like the view cart area. When I click on view cart in the address bar I get https://www.leotron.net/////////// and unless I stop the process it will go on for ever. here is how I setup the ssl. Root SECURE Public HTML Folder to store: /store/ (Include Trailing Slash) Absolute SECURE URL to store: https://www.leotron.net/store e.g. https://secure.domain.com Server SECURE Root Directory: /home/content/P/a/n/Pantera710/html/store/ e.g. /path/to/your/secure/webstore can some one help me figure out what I am doing wrong I am using version 3.0.1 please help I really want my store to work with cube cart and ssl enabled.
