Guest airjer
I have a design I created for my site, yet converting it over to CubeCart is confusing the hell out of me! Would anyone be willing to do it? http://ajkickz.org/layout.html [edit: taken down read below!] -thx!

Guest GnomeyNewt
Hello, For free you want somebody to do it?
Guest mthomassen
I think you start in a wrong way. Just look in the forum what people did until now, and you see the results. You have to start with the basic cart and adjust to your taste. It won't be exactly what you want, but you can put your desired logo in, make the boxes yellow, header of boxes yellow2 etc etc. You can not expect that people start to jump after your question. We all do it ourselves with GREAT help of each other here in the forum. I know NOTHING about php & css, never did it before. Wanted a " clean & professional " look, did it with all others here in the forum. Everyone can have his own opinion about my Store, but for me it is exactly what I had in mind, did it in 20 hours with no knowledge, but the whole forum is willing to help each other. OR, you spend a view hundred bucks, put that in your next topic and people will jump.... Here is what I did : My Store

Here is what I did : My Store That's EXACTLY what I started doing when I received the price quotes people gave me! I have experience, but was just feeling lazy . But ALL worked out fine doing it my self. I just have one problem... the search box! Notice, it is too HIGH! I need it lowered to the bottom. How would I do this? When I add more padding to the top it makes my title img begin to loop. -thx in advance!
Guest fuchsiashock
Mine looks like this \skins\Classic\styleTemplates\global\index.tpl: <body> <div id="pageSurround"> <div id="topHeader"> <div>{SEARCH_FORM}</div> <div style="width=100%; text-align:center; margin-bottom:5px;">{SESSION}</div> </div> <div> Then in \skins\Classic\styleSheets\global\layout.css: #topHeader { text-align: right; height: 36px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 105px; }

Al Brookbanks
Here is what I did : My Store Its a bit rude to make to copyright text completely the same colour as the background. :errm:
Guest vrakas
Its a bit rude to make to copyright text completely the same colour as the background. mthomassen I agree with brooky its not a bit but much to rude . Cube cart isnt that expensive to buy and if it sells one item it will pay for it's self. Respect other peoples efforts. Purchase or leave to be viewed so someone else might buy it No offence its my personal opinion.
Guest mthomassen
I agree with ALL of you, it was NEVER my intention to do someting like this with this result. I am truly sorry and I will change it, can someone tell me how to change the color of the copywright.? I chose light grey in combination with the red, when I open my Store I don't even SEE the bottom. What is mine is mine, and whats not I am not taking...... When I will make my first profit I will buy the license, no problem. But it came never up in someones mind that it happened by mistake, and not by purpose.........????? Is there a word for that also ? I am happy with cc, the forum helped me a lot, but people could have asked the question why I did it like this, instead of convicting me without a hearing. The best for all of you. ( Brooky...its a GREAT cart, thank you ) Marcel.
