Guest
sweet 2.0's back in development. speaking of which brooky it would be cool if 2.0 was developed further :(
Guest twisted
I think thats pretty much up to the mod writers now... That would be like Ford releasing the 2006 Mustang, and some Mustang owner saying I think it would be cool to develop the 64 1/2 further. :(
Guest
long as its good why not. Cubecart 2 system database side mainly is what I liked. Was really simple and thus easy to make changes and do massive imports for example. Besides, everyone knows retro is coming back :innocent:
Guest twisted
How about...just as a suggestion...if Brooky were to turn v.2.x.x over to a third party for continued development..... ! :innocent:
Al Brookbanks
Something I need to think about. Last thing we want is competition from our own product or confusion as to use v2 or v3. I will probably have to stay as it is.
Guest
How about turning v2 open source?
Guest
Man it doesn't even need opensource. Brooky what if you let one/more of the supermasters here develop cubecart 2. It wouldn't be advertised on the main site so as to avoid confusion but anyone who liked Cubecart 2 and was sticking with it could use the new v2 versions to keep their stores up to date. I'm sure theres one or 2 people here who'd be keen to add a few updates to it here and there so yeah up to you but have a serious think about it. You wouldn't be giving much except the "go" sign to a few people here to develop it further.
