Yeah I've been wondering that...
-
I wasn't offended.
I do think that it should say those links are affiliated somewhere on that page though. ;)
-
I'm honest here and I can see how it may appear cheeky although what it is doing it taking the normal price for an sale of 2CO and giving a small bit to brooky . I have refered a few people to them so I get £3.50 for potentially tens of thousands of pounds to them. You should be pleased the multi nationals spare a dime for me. LOL
Those affiliate links in CubeCart AND the old links which where on the old site homepage have made $208 since 03-01-2003. If you work that out AFTER the exchange rate it is negligable.
They will not be included in CubeCart 3.

LOL, I had forgotten about that it was done so long ago. And I had wondered why we had recieved affiliate comissions from 2CO when we removed our link off the new website. None from PayPal though.
Sorry folks. It should be made clear on that page but makes no difference to the price to join 2CO.

Absolutely fantastic tool I've been using it for cc3 development.

Yeah I agree.

Hello folks,
Did you know many gateways such as 2CO will soon require ALL basket contents to be passed to them and NOT just the order id?!?!?!?
It's essential that this is something we keep on top of.

Found the solution.....

A couple of hours should do it.

CubeCart 2.0.4 has been released which fixes a few minor bugs in the install script and product code. It also has an updated version of the 2Checkout gateway for members with an ID of over 200000.
Upgrade is recommended but not essential.

Hi,
I had an email from 2Checkout asking is CubeCart 2 was compatible with their gateway (Version 2) as they will be transferring all their customers from version one to version 2.
Hope that makes sense...
Does CubeCart 2 work with 2Checkout V2 ok?
Thanks,
Brooky :)

In the next post there is a screenshot of the first stage of the checkout process.
Notice the quanitity has been capped. This can be turned off if you wish your customers to be able to order products that are out of stock. Of course this would not apply to digital downloads.

I would put a £100 bet on the fact it's a crook.
