This is very unlikely to be anything to do with the skin - that can easily be checked anyway by choosing a different skin and then trying to reproduce !
There are a number of configuration issues that could cause this but it is likely that you havent setup the product to use stock or set the stock levels to 1. Could also be dependent on when the stock level is reduced

Hi all,
First of all i would like to say what a great script cubecart is...... Where has it been all my life? It`s very easy to navigate through and edit and this forum has been a real help instruction wise. However here goes my first post
Im currently using the "Killer" skin and only have just noticed that when someone has purchased a holiday package from my website the holiday is still available and could cause a double booking.
Is this a fault with the template, or simply a function on admin i have not selected?
Any help would be appreciated

I had this with lot of customer lately can not order some. Some just cant order and some can how come this is been drive me nuts
thank you for your help
There are known issues with 4.4.1 so best to install / upgrade to the latest version first and see if you still have the same problems. As Robsta says though - having more details would help

Which version of CubeCart are you using ? Are you using the built in SagePay Form payment gateway (which a large number of people use so cant believe there is a problem with this code) or are you using a different method
regards
Ian
Hi all,
My customer is experiencing an issue with their Sagepay payment gateway whereby the VendorTX code is being duplicated all the time, meaning payments are not being completed and of course this is a huge problem for my customer.
I have changed the VendorTX code preffix in the cubecart payment module code to reflect the business name (to stop the code being duplicated for other companies) but the error still occurs quite often. It is beginning to become a huge problem and my customer is of course not happy with this situation.
Can anyway please shed some light on this? Is there a way to stop the Vendor TX code from being duplicated and if so, how?
My thanks in advance,
Adam

Yes this is possible using the SagePay Direct service and the payment gateway module that has just been released over on CubeCartForums - just search for SagePay Direct Payment Gateway
Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to integrate sagepay with cubecart and keep the user on our site during the entire payment process? i.e. not be redirected to a sagepay url to enter card details. The page users get redirected to is pretty ugly and it can't be customised.
Sagepay tell me the only way to do it would be to use an iframe to embed the sagepay page into the cubecart site. This isn't ideal, but is preferable to leaving the site entirely.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt

cubecart version:3.0.20
I'm trying to set up USPS shipping, I have access to the production server, but get an XML error message at the top of the page during checkout:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Error><Number>-2147219085</Number><Source>Rate_Respond.;SOLServerRates.RateV3_Respond</Source><Description>Invalid XML Element cannot be empty according to the DTD/Schema.
line= 0 pos= 1196</Description><HelpFile></HelpFile><HelpContext>1000440</HelpContext></Error>
I'm almost 100% sure it's because all of my items weigh less then one pound. I made sure to convert ALL products weight to pounds.
I want to provide worldwide shipping via first class mail also but can't seem to get it all working.
Shipping by weight has been so confusing for me. I can't seem to find any help on the usps site for shipping rates by zones, and I'm afraid to use it just in case rates change or I make a mistake.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
This has now been fixed and the solution is available FREE of charge - although as there are not going to be any further releases (even bug fixes) for V3 anyone wanting this is going to have to search for it !

There are some known problems with the V3 USPS shipping module and these have been fixed for a client of mine. As there will be no further releases or bug fixes for V3, I have made this available free of charge and you will be able to find this by doing a search over on CubeCartForums.org

hey guys , just got a bit of a question , is their a mod for CC4 that has like a stocktake page that shows Stock level , cost of the particular item and sale price ? and also an accounting module that showes GP% etc , would be interested in such mods if they are available
I am just sending you some information in a PM about this

As far as I can see it all looks OK although you seem to have a different version of the software than I am running so that could explain the different issues that you and I are having.
I have tried several times to log a ticket and get hold of via email, the software authors but have got no response from them but I would suggest that this has to be your next course of action. I have pretty much exhausted by knowledge of this and as all the files are encoded cannot look at the code to even fix my own issue
Good luck and let me know how you get on, especially if you manage to get hold of them

Hi GavinHave you entered anything into the Prefix Order field within the payment gateway setup on CubeCart - if so this needs to be blank.

Hi,The payments are going through now the problem was that I had the system configured in Test mode (I am used to doing this with WorldPay) and according to Barclaycard this was successful but when the page loads up on the cart it says:
"Sorry, your order failed!
You can attempt to purchase your basket contents again below:"
Looking at the Admin interface, the transaction is there?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Gavin
Hi,
I have attached the settings within the Payment Module.
If you could have a look and let me know what you think.
Thanks

I have this payment gateway module for a couple of clients and the lack of installation / configuration instructions made it very difficult to get working. The gateway mod author was fairly helpful initially butnow seems to have completely disappeared and isnt answering any tickets or emails. I had this same problem with the password but the gateway mod wont work if you add directory user validation even thought that is what the Barclays CPI says is needed. In your CPI Admin screen enter the correct POST back directory and enter any old username and password but then dont create an .htpasswd file in that directory

Hi all!hope someone can help me with this as i am starting to pull my hair out a little. i have signed up to use the barclays epdq service which i am using along with the cpi module designed to communicate between the pdq service and cubecart. all seems to work fine when an item is purchased through the basket and payed for through the barclays cpi. the problen occures when the cpi uses the post URL to issue data about the transaction back to cubecart to report that the payment went through. what i get is a 'payment failed please retry' page. but when i check the barclays service i can see the payment has gone through ok. this would obviously cause problems if payment is shown to fail to the customer when in fact it has gone through. the probelm seems to lye with accessing the post url which requires a username and password. it would seem that whatever or however simple a password i use, i am unable to log into it. so when the barclays cpi trys to hand back info through this post url it is unable to log onto the server and just times out. i am gussing this is why i get the payment failed page once the page reloads. the cubecart support team seem to think the server is looking for a .password file. here is the email reply
Yes correct it doesn't work on our site. Please ask your host about this as this code should work but doesn't, seems like servers is looking for the .password file.
if ($_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_USER'] == "admin" && $_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_PW'] == "admin") {
echo "OK";
} else {
header('WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="Payment"');
header('HTTP/1.0 401 Unauthorized');
}
if anyone can shed some light on this it would be a great help to me.
many thanks

I'm looking to upgrade Protx protocol 2.22 to SagePay protocol 2.23
With the new CubeCart 4.3.2 release, do I just replace the Protx directory? Do any core files need updating?
Thanks!
It is a simple case of taking the modules/gateway/Protx directory from the latest version and replacing the current version you are using - I would obviously recommend keeping a copy of the old Protx directory and doing as much testing following this but it has worked for me perfectly every time

Hi Gavin
Even as an experienced CubeCart user and somebody who supports many CubeCart stores for customers, I too struggled with this for a while before getting it "mostly" working. It isnt the clearest system to use both at the bank end and also within the CubeCart module (you're using the Barclays mod that you purchased presumably - I had great support initially from the author of this but he hasnt answered and questions for many weeks now and seems to have completely disappeared)
Within the CPI administration side you need to have the following settings :
Client ID: - This is usually a 5 digit number
User name: Yes, this is the username and password that was created in the administration page specifically for CPI access?
Password:*
Pass-phrase: Yes this needs to be the same on both systems - you can choose what you want
Allowed URL:* This needs to be something like https://www.yourdomainname.com/modules/gate...s_ePDQ/jump.php
Continue Option 1:** Yes No - Set to No
Continue Option 2:** Yes No - Set to No
Continue Option 3:** Yes No - Set to No
POST Order result:* Yes No - Set to Yes
POST URL: This needs to be set to something like http://www.irrigationuk.com/index.php?_g=r...e=Barclays_ePDQ
POST User name: This is very confusing as Barclays say it is mandatory but the module doesnt work if you set up directory level protection - just enter anything into here
POST Password: This can be left blank or a dummy entry made if required
POST Email: This is the email address that you would like payment notifications set to
I also had that error message for a while but cannot remember if it was solved by sorting out the correct parameters above or on one of the many phone calls to the Barclays support team who are very helpful
My client is now successfully taking card payments using this system but the transaction log details are never updated with the amount of the payment and have had no response to support tickets that I have placed
Hopefully, this will get you as far as placing orders. One thing I would say is that I have always found it best from testing purposes to close your store so nobody externally can access it but then put the payment system into live mode and do your tests that way - it is easy to refund a transaction if successfully processed
Regards
Ian
Hi,I have got my CubeCart 4.0 store how I would like it and now I am working on the payment gateway.
My customer has signed up for an ePDQ service and I wondered if someone has any configuration steps or guidelines that they can share with me, I am new to CubeCart and ePDQ and struggling a little.
I have enabled the ePDQ module within CC, configured the client ID and passphrase. I have also logged onto the CPI administration tool and added in the username, password, passphrase and copied and pasted the CC 4.0 allowed URL and POST URL.
On the CC configuration settings, as a test I set the mode to testing and the charge type to preauth but when I put a test transaction through, I get an error saying "unable to read configuration file".
I have some questions regarding the settings below:
Client ID:*
User name: Should this be the username and password that was created in the administration page with CPI access?
Password:*
Pass-phrase: I presume this needs to be the same on both systems?
Allowed URL:*
Continue Option 1:** Yes No
Continue Option 2:** Yes No
Continue Option 3:** Yes No
POST Order result:* Yes No
POST URL:
POST User name: Where do I get this or add it in? Is this a username that I need to configure on the site that is allowed access to a specific file or directory?
POST Password:
POST Email:
Thanks

or are there other coding compatability issues to address ?
Thanks Havenswift-Hosting thought there was a piece of the jigsaw missing.
Glad I could help, that's why these forums are here. Can you confirm what version of CubeCart you have got this working with ?
Ian

thanks for the link
i installed as it says too, now i get the 3d secure page up, once the customer has entered their password and slicked the button it just returns them to the cart, why isnt it completing the order?
I am having the exact same issue has anyone managed to resolve this issue?
I have had this with one of my clients sites and have finally got to the bottom of the problem with help from Al. If you are running a version of CubeCart older than 4.3.8 then as well as using the new PayPal gateway from modules/AltCheckout/PayPal_Pro you also have to use the 4.3.8 version of the file includes/content/gateway.inc.php
This solved the problem for my client so hopefully will work with everyone else

Hi Phil
The licence key and copyright removal keys are two separate things. The licence key is added when installing the system but the copyright key is entered via the Admin Home Page in the section at the bottom of the page. Until you enter the copyright removal key into that box and submitted it, it will continue to show - you should not remove the copyright messages yourself
Ian
I've purchased and installed a license key (with copyright removal) on my v4 install but the messages are still showing. Am I supposed to remove them myself by editing the code or is something not working?Thanks
Phil

Yes it appears to be a bug. I have raised the issue in the bug tracker here: http://bugs.cubecart.com/view.php?id=1698
I have received no response yet. But I have fixed it myself in the .js file.
Adam
This isnt really a bug as this is designed to allow anything to be put into the product fields which does make it flexible but also pretty unusable for most people because there is no lookup or validation done on the product details entered.

Not using standard CubeCart there isnt - if you want the tax split shown, then you have to have prices excluding Tax. Of course, anything is possible if you want to change the code to display it that way
Ian
Hi. I have set prices to include tax. When I check out, is there a way to show prices before tax and a tax figure. It currently shows the total figure including tax and the tax figure is zero 0.Thanks
-
I have used it with 4.3.3 on several clients' systems and it works with no problem. I dont know about on older versions than this though. I would suggest opening a support ticket and asking
Ian
Wondering this myself. Has anyone tried using the PayPal Pro module update with an older version of CC 4? -
Hi
Take a look over at cubecartforums.org for a mod called "All in One Shipping with Postcodes" by Estelle which will solve this issue. A fantastic mod that I have installed at quite a few of my clients.
Ian
Ian,
thanks, I am looking over at the mods. you are familiar with that mod, does it provide the ability to enter tax codes based on the zip code, or postal code?
UK postcodes and USA / Canada codes as well

I would recommend that anyone using PayPal Alternate Checkout methods downloads the latest version that was released yesterday - I spoke to Al as promised and he was already working on several issues within this gateway for another client. I have tested this with two clients that were having problems and it seems to have fixed most if not all issues that they were having
Ian
-
I have been working with Al (owner of CubeCart) for a solution to an issue similar to this that several of my clients had been having recently. If you are using PayPal WPP as your gateway then there is a good chance that we now have a solution. If you are not, then what payment gateway are you using and you will need to get the process that is failing documented and ideally repeatable (which is tough I know). There is no information in any of the posts above that can be worked on

After upgrading my store from 4.0 to 4.3.5, Manual Order page is not functioning. There was a drop down menu where you could pick a client from the list. Now all is gone. Is that a bad upgrade job or CC changed something in this release ? If so where do I find information about fixing / making it work ? I just need to be able to add manual orders.
The manual order WORKS if I know the customer number, but until the customer puts an ORDER, I dont know where to find his/hers number. So it is like catch 22.
Are there ANY manuals on how the back-end works ?
any gurus out there that figured it out and wanna share the info with the fellows ?
The customer drop down functionality is now disabled if you have 500 or more customers in your system due to the performance impact of loading this amount of data into the browser
Ian
-
To use the add order in admin the customer has to already be in the database. So you have to add the customer first. Once you do this you can select the customer from the drop down top right and if you use firefox it automaticly adds the customers details, if using IE it doesn't (bug).
the 4.3.5 ver. doesn't have the drop down anymore. Is that normal ?? How do I do it now ?
The customer drop down option is disabled if you have 500 or more customers as it is too slow pre-loading all of the information into the browser. There is a solution over at http://www.cubecartforums.org though that solves all of the problems mentioned in this thread

CHMOD 777
in Technical Help
Posted
Hi
Those directories do need to be writeable and generally that means setting them to 777 unless they are running their server (as we do) using suPHP when 755 is correct (and a much more secure solution)
