  1. Is it? I've manually added the security patch to 3.0.10, and all is well.
  2. That would make life a lot simpler. I do have a question which will likely expose my inexperience with e-commerce stores, but as my store is currently running fine at version 3.0.10, would it be possible to just install the recent security patch, and then when 3.1 is released, simply do a clean install of CC 3.1 on my server, and it still recognise all the products and info I have contained in my current store. Of course I'd have to link it all up to the same database, but would 3.1 have any trouble picking up where 3.10 left off, if I just installed 3.1 fresh? I mainly ask as my current store is full of mods, which you guys have indicated will be in 3.1 as standard, so I'd very much like to be able to save myself the time it would take to install the recent .11 and .12 updates, and start fresh with an unmodded store, thus making future upgrades a lot easier. Thanks for all the great work you're doing with CC :)
  3. Ouch, that sounds really rough. If the site is violating any laws, I do believe the hosting company are obliged to take it down until such issues are sorted. My advice would be to speak directly (and privately) with your hosting company, provide them with clear details regarding the situation, and provide any relevant documents which prove your case. Hope the situation gets resolved for you.
  4. This. Safari (the browser used by most Mac users) passed the Acid2 css rendering test, so providing your code is valid and conforms to the standard, it's a pretty safe bet Safari will also run it fine. You could also check your work in Opera, as that's another browser which - I believe - has passed the Acid2 test. The only real difference between these standard compliant browsers is the browser defaults. I find Safari gives all text a slightly higher line-height than other browsers, and Opera gives the body a slight padding. Simple testing will quickly identify such problems though, but I find that using universal rules like * {padding: 0px} can save a lot of problems later on. I still reccomend getting a Mac though, once you've used Expose, you'll wonder how you ever survived without it ;)
  5. I've got a friend who's recently been badly stung with Paypal, as a customer used credit charge-back on him, and he lost both his money and the product. Of course there is no way of knowing if this new Google pay option would have been any better, but Paypal definitely needs some real competition, and coupled with their cheaper rates, I'll certainly be giving it a go as soon as Cubecart supports it.
  6. Yes, I had everything set this way, but still VAT is only charged to customers in the UK, I want VAT to be charged to all EU member states. The only way round this is to manually add tax to all prices and charge VAT to customers worldwide. Are we then left with an TAX N/A at checkout? I'm having this exact problem now. My store is based in Belgium, and we've just had our first order from Holland. Upon receiving the order, we realized the store had not charged the customer sales tax. The store is only charging Belgian customers tax, and nobody else. This ( I'm assuming) is due to the fact that you can only charge one country tax, in the taxes panel of your admin board. Am I to assume that the only way around this problem, is to now recalculate all the prices to include sales tax, and thus ignore Cubecarts ability to charge tax separately. Surely adding a simple "apply to all" option in the taxes field would solve this problem. Am I missing something in Cube Carts options, or is this something which will be fixed in the next version?

I'm having the same problem, any help would be appreciated. EDIT: Might have just fixed it, you have to use the complete order status options, (pending, processing & completed) in admin, don't just jump from pending to complete. Seems to do the trick.
