Guest woodwater
When i log in as a customer and want to continue with my order, i get this message: We cannot ship our products to your country. Why? Andreas
Guest hennaboy
check in the admin that you have the country codes added. also make sure that you enter them with comma seperated with no spaces
Guest teddy
I'm getting the same error... And My country code is showing up under my admin area. I actually took out everything but the U.S. Since my client is only shipping within the continental U.S. Any help/suggestions? ***** Also... one other thing regarding shipping, I'm simply trying to enable the UPS module in CC 3.02... Is there something more to do than simply making sure it is set to Status: Enabled Store Post/zip code : Entered Packaging code : (Set to CP) then under UPS Products: I"m simplying enabling Ground... Don't think it's working for me. 8(
Guest teddy
actually nevermind. I'll just have to use shipping by weight as opposed to UPS. Unless someone has an answer?
Guest
AFAIK there is a country code bug with UPS shipping. But as only USA customers can use it, and I'm a Brit..... For other couriers (ie by weight) just make sure that the 2 letter ISO country code is in CAPITALS and with NO spaces between any commas. I believe Brooky is trapping the spaces thing - hopefully in 3.03. I'm sure thew UPS issue will be resolved at some point - but not for Brits ;-) (UPS's fault)
Guest brahm2
I got caught by the no-spaces thing too, until I figured it out :D
Guest
I have just encountered this error in 3.0.2 with the UPS module. However the problem isn't with country codes. It's with shipping heavy items. When I place an order for one 100lb item, it all goes through. If I try two, it says I cannot ship to this country which never changed. I'm guessing the UPS module is lumping each item into one package and is adding all of their weights together. UPS sees that I'm trying to ship ONE 200lb box when it should be two 100lb boxes and says no. The module is reporting this error incorrectly. At least this is what I'm gathering. Is there a solution for this yet?
Guest teddy
Everyone who is having problems with this... Here is the fix ... The code that you choose for shipping should be in ALL CAPS so CP (For customer packaging) Also , ALL products must have a weight or it won't work. Thank God!! Guest
Everyone who is having problems with this... Here is the fix ... The code that you choose for shipping should be in ALL CAPS so CP (For customer packaging) Also , ALL products must have a weight or it won't work. Thank God!! Your solution doesn't fix my problem. I have the packaging in CAPs and there is weight on all my parts. Brooky, What problem is being fixed in 3.0.3? Just the incorrect country code or the problem with weight getting added together for multiple items?
shooters
I'm new to this shopping cart, but had this same problem today. What is the fix? Do I have to have a weight for an item when I don't ship by weight? Also, I do not use UPS. Thanks
Al Brookbanks
Brooky, What problem is being fixed in 3.0.3? Just the incorrect country code or the problem with weight getting added together for multiple items? Both I hope. :)
