Al Brookbanks Posted July 16, 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) *Everything has now been resolved and is back to normal.* We currently are running the forums default skin as it was exploited at midday today due to a security issue with Invision Power board. This is really our fault as we had not been aware of a recent security patch that was available. The malicious attacker placed an iframe into the html source which linked to an external html page which may have placed a trojan script on your PC. Our forums were in this state for approximately 10 minutes and we reacted promptly to start resolving the issue. They have now been patched and there are no security issues. If you visited the forums at around midday today we strongly advise you to run an uptodate virus checker on your compter. A free online scan can be performed here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ Please rest assured that your privacy is important to us and no personal data will have been leaked through this exploit. We are currently rebuilding the previous skin from a backup stored on an off site storage server and expect to have this done within an hour. Many thanks for your patience. Due to this we have currently take www.cubecart.org off line as the upgrade process for that site will be far more time consuming.
