Parsed array keys

I get this error on a clean install of 3.0.15

Parsed array keys can not contain illegal characters! Script execution has been halted.

It may be possible to fix this error by deleting your browsers cookies and refresh this page.

I know that this is an old problem but will we ever get an version that will install without any hassel?

3.0.12 was the last version that worked right out of the box.

You need to delete your cookies and then refresh on the homepage.

The Session IDs changed in .15 removing a hyphen which has now become an illegal array character - so old session cookies which exist with hyphens cause that.

Cheers,

Adam

Thank you for the quick answer but that really is not a solution.

Asking someone to delete their cookies is absolutely crazy.

There is so much information stored in cookies, my login for this forum is stored in a cookie

and I have on idea what that is.

If I delete all my cookies I would be lost.

I surf some 500 pages/site at a day and a good quarter of them require some form of login.

I would lose my my spot on countless forums of what is new, what I have read.

And all that information is stored in cookies.

There is no way I can ask my customers to delete their cookies.

You should be ashamed of your self ask us to do the same.

At this point, I am afraid to invest too much time and effort into CubeCart.

What are you do on the next upgrade.

I just caught this thread..

The above fix is ok for store admins - but its unreasonable to expect customers to do this if it effects them.

If this effects store customers too, can't the code delete the invalid cookie?

I did just that but I had to install 2 differant "tools"

there are 8 cookies for my domain.

I have more then CC installed and

the name of the cookie was somethng off the wall.

BUT that is besides the point.

I know for a fact that if I went to a website that I had be to before and I got some error

that said

It may be possible to fix this error by deleting your browsers cookies and refresh this page.

I would just move on and never to be back.

Making someone do something like that to their PC is just a NO-NO

but that is just my opion.

Thank you Jason.

I though I was the only one that thought this was its unreasonable to expect customers to do this.
