CubeCart v4.0.0 Beta Released

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are very pleased to announce that the much anticipated CubeCart 4.0.0 Beta is ready to be made available to our beta testers. After our announcement inviting members to become beta testers we have had an phenomenally huge response and we regret that we will not be able to issue it to you all.

CubeCart 4.0.0 Beta will be issued over the next week as we manually approve and dispatch orders of $0.00 which will grant you access to a tar.gz and .zip archive. This version will not be accessed by the same means as v3 currently is (via the download section).

*We are currently working to overcome a technical glitch with our ordering system before beta will be dispatched. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.*

We will only be able to grant you access to this is you have a user account with our ordering system. That can be achieved and automatically created by simply visiting the following URL:

If you see "First Name / Last Name's Dashboard" then your account is ready and active for us to deploy it. Please make sure your email address associated to our website is correct.

Important Release Information

• Two files have been Zend/Ioncube encoded. You will need either Zend Optimizer to run the script or upload the Ioncube loader files which may be instructed during setup. This will not affect the scalability of the software as over 99% of source code is available.
  
• This release it NOT suitable for production purposes as it may have some large bugs or security exploits. Over the next few weeks it will be bug fixed with the help of yourselves and it will be professionally security audited by a specialist 3rd party company.
  
• The following shipping modules are still under development, DHL, FedEx & Canada Post which will be included in CubeCart 4.0.0 Final which we hope to have released by August.
  
• You may notice that we have not included all the payment modules included in v3. This is because we aim to release separate downloads via cubecart.com which can be downloaded and imported into your store. This makes it easier to keep them up to date independently of CubeCart v4 releases.
  
• Some of the skins in this release may be removed in final and they will certainly validate.
  
• Shortly after the Beta testing period is over you may find that access to the admin control panel of your store is inaccessible as the software license key expires.
  
• A full feature list and pricing information will be created and published shortly.
