Guest tsdirect
take a look also at hosting from 1and1 http://www.1and1.co.uk you will require a small business hosting package that gives you PHP 4/5 and also MySQL database (at least one database). This company offer 1&1 Business package (Linux hosting) from £8.99 per month (half-price for 1st 3 months). Please also shop around for some other quotes to make comparisons. bsmither
At least a database extension, and gd2 if you want thumbnails. I also have mime_magic, mcrypt, gettext, and curl enabled, though I don't know if these were for CC or another PHP application running in my space. I also have mime_magic, mcrypt, gettext, and curl enabled, though I don't know if these were for CC or another PHP application running in my space. Thank You, Well maybe someone can help me here. I try to install cc3 on a new home server, but it will not run. I thought it was because php was no configured right. so I wrote this script to test it<?php echo phpinfo(); ?> and saved it as phpinfo.php. I ran the script, and the phpinfo page opens up. I copy the files for cc3 in to the same dir, but it still will not run. all i see it the index listing. well now it is showing up on my LAN, and not the WAN. The WAN computers get the following error. Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/2.2.4 (Win32) PHP/5.2.3 Server at www.completecomputer-service.com Port
bsmither
Do you have any mod-rewrites or anything else that's special for your Apache installation? Look at your server logs to see what the URL is, exactly, that the server is attempting to serve.
Guest ccsoh
I got it now, it was an extra space in my global.inc.php file. removed the extra space, and all worked perfect. Thank you all for the help.
Robsta
There is also a third-party products and services site available to help you build up a great store, CubeCartForums.org.
