Guest arfur
Hi, I decided to download v3 to test and see if it will work for my business. I've extracted all the files from the zip file and copied them over to my VMWARE IIS server that I use for testing. They are in c:\web\cubecart , I have installed mysql and PHP5 (most recent ones). I can get to the setup screen but I cant get past page 3, at the bottom of page 3 I get this error Warning: Unknown: open(C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\php\session\sess_7bbu1vcsidop1du4f0g4dh4v20, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\php\session) in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\php\session\sess_7bbu1vcsidop1du4f0g4dh4v20, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in C:\web\cubecart\install\index.php on line 29 PHP Warning: Unknown: open(C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\php\session\sess_7bbu1vcsidop1du4f0g4dh4v20, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\php\session) in Unknown on line 0 when I click continue I get this error PHP Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: open(C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\php\session\sess_7bbu1vcsidop1du4f0g4dh4v20, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in C:\web\cubecart\install\index.php on line 29 I'm using vista client but also tested in on the 2003 server and I've tried opera as well as IE7, can anyone help? EDIT ** oh and I've set everyone with full permissions to the C:\web folder on the IIS server to ensure its not permissions, and PHP is allowed in the IIS setup. bsmither
Run phpinfo() and see where your TEMP folder is. Then make sure that folder has read-write permissions for the Internet Guest account (whatever that may be for VMWARE).
