Frank Auffret
Just upgraded from 5.0.4 to 5.0.7 and my template no longer works because Smarty no longer includes /$GLOBALS['smarty']->allow_php_tag = true; Please can anyone point me towards a solution. Thanks
Toucan Web Design
Not sure about the particular line there, can't find that one, but I've found one bit which might do the trick, have a look on includes/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php Find: public $php_handling = self::PHP_PASSTHRU; And try changing it to: public $php_handling = self::PHP_ALLOW; Might do it, but I'm no smarty expert, so can't really say for sure. May also need to change the allow_php_templates one below too
Robsta
Did you completely clear the store cache as noted (with importance) in the v5.0.5 release.
Dirty Butter
Did you completely clear the store cache as noted (with importance) in the v5.0.5 release. http://forums.cubeca...t-505-released/ When someone jumps over the 5.0.5 update, as Frank did - do they see that warning on EACH upgrade version? Robsta
There isn't a warning shown as far as I know. The additional upgrade information is provided either in the supplied documentation or in the release announcement.
Dirty Butter
The Announcement here for 5.0.5 has a prominent warning. I would suggest that same thing be put on subsequent versions as well. http://forums.cubecart.com/topic/44422-cubecart-505-released/
Frank Auffret
Thanks for the replies chaps and sorry for the delay in getting back been busy on a big job. Yes I did manually remove all files from the cache and also tried public $php_handling = self::PHP_ALLOW; but still don't work When I get back to it I'll research the Smarty site and report here when I find out how.
