I am in the process of upgrading a CubeCart store for a client. They are currently running 4.4.2, and are looking to upgrade to the latest release. I was wondering is there anything in the upgrade that would require major work to the existing site for it too work, or would the upgrade just work seamlessly? The CC5 upgrade process has been designed to, step-by-step, manipulate the database from the CC4 schema to the CC5 schema -- so that no core data is lost. By core data, I mean the data needed by, and collected by, an unmodified store. There is no hope for any mods or edits, and the data that these mods collected, will survive the upgrade process. It will be orphaned. The CC5 codebase completely overwrites the CC4 codebase. Anything 'third-party' will not apply.
