Nik Grey
After my recent problems my host has suggested I create a new database as that will be placed on a new database server - this should sort my connection problems according to them. I'm ok with this but where do I find the database details in Cubecart? Where I can enter the name etc of the newly created database?
Dirty Butter
I'm certainly no expert, but I think you'll find what you need in includes/global.include.php, That file has a strict permission, so you may have to access it from cpanel to change the permission so you can edit it, and then set the permission back. It should be 444.

Nik Grey
All done. It does seem to be a lot faster now - probably seems that way as I was used to the slow version.. But thanks for the info DB, that did the trick. I am finally on my way to seeing something tangible for my efforts

Nik Grey
Thanks for your help. I look forward to opening my site - spent the last Three full days putting products into it, just waiting for my coder to pull his finger out (Frustrated). I will be announcing the grand opening here as soon as I can
