KSD
One of our payment gateway provider is gspay.com. GSPAY already published a gateway for CUBECART 5.http://www.gspay.com/docs/modules_rd/cubecart5.zip The problem is, that this gateway uses the standard currency of our CC shop (which is EURO), while GSPAY can process US DOLLAR only. If someone sees any chance, to change (code) this gateway in a way that it will process US currency instead of default currency, please let me know. bsmither
I think all gateways (but I haven't experimented with all the gateways) will send the values being managed internally to the processor as set in Store Settings, Default Currency. With that, I would think that the payment processor you choose to use would need a merchant account setting to match the store setting. That is, a store default of EURO would need to call a payment processor that accepts EUROs. I understand that this limits your choice of payment processors. It looks like GSPAY has simply used the Authorize.net gateway code but connects to their server -- not this is an issue. I have experimented with a Payment Test Gateway where I have sent an amount calculated as the "basket total" multiplied by a chosen exchange rate (JPY in this case). So, I think what you need are a few simple edits. Can you assist with making test transactions?
bsmither
Please let us know if you have mechanisms in place that will correct the discrepancy between what GSPAY says you transacted and what CubeCart says you transacted. Does GSPAY send an email to the customer? If so, does this email show the order totals? If so, would it show, in fact, the transaction was completed in USD and not EUR? KSD
GSPAY sends an email to the customer which shows order totals in USD. In the meantime we have found a provider who coded about 4 lines of code and our orders (in EURO) are transfered to GSPAY in USD.
