Changed Primary Category issue

Before Christmas, I created a child category of Assorted Animal Brands, and moved all the various toys that only had the parent category of Animals to this new child, Assorted Animal Brands. All appeared to be working correctly in the Store, and still does.

 

Doing some other work today, I had occasion to look at the store's Google Feed. All those products that were moved to the newly created child, STILL show as being in product_type Animals, rather than the Animals>Assorted Animal Brands it should be.

 

In the database category_index table, those moved items show :

 

id=0, the correct cat_id=134, the correct product_id, and primary=1.

 

If I added them to a secondary category, the table shows:

 

correct cat_id=134, the correct product_id and primary=0, but id still equals zero.

 

Sorting shows that the last item with an id number was id=3776.

 

Any suggestions about how to get the id numbers for the approximately 500 items currently missing this information?
